The Loving Others Well events are provided by Crossroads Communications Ministry, LLC of Massachusetts in coordination with a host church and/or a Christian school.
Below are some typical questions and answers:
Who is the special speaker?
Rev. Dr. Donald Coombs is an ordained minister and registered evangelist in the Church of the Nazarene. He is also a licensed counselor, specializing in both substance use disorders and mental health issues. He also works with a large non-profit organization providing consultation services for 36 Christian residential rehabilitation programs. His entire credentials are provided on both crossroadscommunicationsministry.com and counselingwithdon.com.
How many events do you provide per year?
We are a new ministry, and we currently plan to provide between 20-30 events in 2019 and 2020.
Who is eligible to host an event?
The events are designed to help Christian churches and educational institutions with edification, education, and evangelism.
How much does it cost?
The costs vary depending upon the expenses incurred (e.g., advertising, hosting decisions, etc.). We charge a flat fee plus agreed upon expenses (e.g., travel, airfare, etc.). CCM does not receive donations from the public and is organized as a "for-profit" business.
Your church is expected to receive tithes and offerings during each service of the event, and those funds can be used towards your costs. Any funds raised in addition to the CCM's fee and the conference expenses is to be used towards your local evangelism efforts.
How long does it take to prepare for a conference?
We can provide a "good" conference with a 30 day notice at your church. We can provide a "better" one with a 60 day notice. A "great" event typically requires a 90-120 days of planning. We have an event planning guide that provides details on planning for a successful conference.
